Makin’ a Home Run with America’s Favorite Pastime

While baseball teams are gearing up for spring training, SCA clients are gearing up promotions for the coming season with tried and true games and a few new ones.

You might remember last year’s home run promotion with the Arizona Diamondbacks when baseball fan, Gylene Hoyle beat the odds to win $1 million when she predicted what inning a grand slam would occur and who would hit it.

Well, for the Millennial baseball season, SCA’s got a few more fastball promotions up its sleeve - which are sure to bat a thousand for fans and customers alike. Check out the lineup:

Baseball Target- Similar to SCA’s “toss-through-the-template”, except now it’s inflatable. Sent to you in a crate for easy transport, this bull’s-eye may be full of hot air - but it’s also a real eye-catcher.

This self-contained seven-foot tall target can be used anywhere. And since it weighs just 35 pounds, you can place the target wherever you like, open the top of the crate, plug into any 110-volt outlet, and in no time you have a colorful promotional device ready to add excitement to your event. The target can be made to accept a Velcro™ banner for your logo, and comes with tether tie-downs and sand bags to hold it in place. You can rent this target for a one-time promotion or it can be purchased for a season’s worth of triple-play promotions, sure to increase your “fans batted in“ time and again.

This target is also fantastic when incorporated with some of your favorite baseball promotions, such as Three Strikes You Win™ or Baseball Toss™.

Foul Pole Contest™ - This popular sports promotion can be offered to teams for a full season or partial season. This promotion tests the home run talents of baseball greats everywhere. If a home run is hit off the outfield pole, marking the fair/foul line, a lucky fan wins $500. If the homerun is a grand slam, a lucky fan can win $25,000. Either way, the promotion is sure to have baseball fans cheering on their home run hopefuls all season long.

Grand Slam Challenge - Introducing another member in the family of baseball target promotions from SCA, the Grand Slam Challenge - puts contestant’s pitching arms to the test. For this promotion, players are given four baseballs to throw at four holes in the target area. The holes are labeled ‘single,’ ‘double,’ ‘triple,’ and ‘homerun,’ and offer contestants the chance to win $10 grand, or more, if they make four perfect throws.

The target holes are covered with movable flaps and contain netting, to catch the balls. The target is approximately 7’ high (or 8’ if you would like to include your banner) by 7.5’ wide and sets up in minutes - a perfect promotion for a pre-game teaser, during the 7th inning stretch, or even after the game.
