The latest winner was 70 year-old George Ablah of Wichita, Kan., who hit a solid 10-Spot Keno ticket while playing in the early morning. “I have won before, but nothing of this magnitude. When my numbers hit, I had to sit down!”

Bingo halls like Creek Bingo Palace have been turning to SCA to add a big-money boost to their games. Two lucky players at the Atmore, Ala. Bingo hall captured the $100,000 grand prize on its “Pick 8 of 17” game. The contest used the California Concepts designed Sure-Pick System™, a mobile cart that resembles a lottery game on wheels.

But casino and bingo games aren’t limited to in-house promotions. For the second season, Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn. and the New York Rangers Hockey team awarded a lucky fan $77,777 in the “Lucky Sevens” Jackpot. The contest challenged a selected fan to make three of five shots through a target placed in front of the hockey goal. The promotion shows how a casino can easily tie its marketing efforts in with a sports team.
