Minneapolis,MN - With
prizes ranging from a monster truck to fistfuls of cash, Internet contest
company Grab.com is Terry Carlson had his wish granted on July 10th when he answered a knock on his door and received a $100,000 check, underwritten by SCA. |

Carlson had been a member of the service for about three months when his eight numbers were chosen by SCA’s draw system, making him $100,000 richer. This isn’t the first Grab.com contest for which SCA has provided coverage. The site launched with the first and only online billion dollar lottery, helping Grab.com receive immediate recognition without any prize payout risk. “A billion dollar contest could have been very complicated, but SCA made it simple,” says Hyden. |
|
On any given day, SCA covers about $2.25 million in prizes for Grab.com, according to Hyden. “The fact that SCA pays us directly when there’s a winner allows us to offer some very unique prizes, such as building a baseball diamond in someone’s backyard or paying for plastic surgery.” |

| As Carlson
discovered, cash is always great, too — particularly when prize payout is
quick. Within a week of contacting SCA of Carlson’s win, Hyden was standing
at his door, check in hand. “Service like that really helps establish our
credibility with contestants,” she says. "But most important to Hyden is SCA’s ability to expand Grab.com’s potential prize payout. “I’m blown away by the concept of being able to offer a million dollar prize without needing to have a million dollars in your budget. |
