Dunedin, FL - At the Marker 1 Marina event (which was organized by its agency CEA Marketing), luck was smiling on Catherine Freedland as she rolled six dice to spell
M-A-R-I-N-A. In an effort to sell wet and dry boat slips and to drive awareness for the soon-to-be remodeled marina, MarineMax offered local residents the chance to win a new 2007 Sea Ray, valued at $50,000.
“Over 500 people gathered at the event for a sneak preview of the marina’s future remodeling plans as well as to view boat slips that were available for purchase,” said Kelly Bosetti, CEO of CEA Marketing. “Guests also enjoyed the Gulf waters, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, unforgettable entertainment, and the Marker 1 Marina Dice Roll game.”
Everyone who attended the event received the chance to roll for a new Sea Ray. The Dice Roll game was promoted in advertising collateral as well as onsite signage. “It was a fantastic event that helped the marina achieve word of mouth publicity within the boating community,” said Bosetti.
The showcase event proved to be successful with two on-site signed contracts and several reservations for slips that were made after the event.
The excitement of the $50,000 winner also enhanced the relationship between Marker 1 Marina and its agency, CEA Marketing, who brought the promotion idea to them. “There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the excitement and hype that our events provide to clients. Especially when someone walks away a winner,” said Bosetti.
“We are very confident in working with SCA,” Bosetti replied. “Our account executive is very fast and always on-demand with pricing and suggestions.”
