SCA’s Commitment to Maintaining Your Privacy on the Internet

SCA Promotions, Inc. is in the business of taking risks. When you provide your personal information on the Internet, you shouldn’t have to worry about taking a risk. Because your privacy is important to us, SCA’s website contains this Statement of Privacy which represents that SCA is committed to protecting your personal information and providing you with the peace of mind that it is being used as you intended.

Privacy Principles

• SCA’s site will explicitly ask when information that personally identifies you or allows SCA to contact you is needed (“Personally Identifiable Information”). SCA does not collect Personally Identifiable Information about individuals except when such individuals specifically provide such information on a voluntary basis. Generally this information may be gathered from a contest or sweepstakes registration or from a request for a particular service. When possible, SCA will provide you with the means to make sure that your Personally Identifiable Information is correct and current.



• As part of a registration for online contests or sweepstakes, or as part of a request for information from SCA, Personally Identifiable Information may include, but is not limited to your name, company name, address, phone number and email address.



• Personally Identifiable Information on individual users will not be sold or otherwise transferred to unaffiliated third parties without the approval of the user at the time of collection or thereafter. At such points of collection, the user will have the opportunity to indicate whether he or she would like to “opt out” of this service. The user may also opt out of receiving promotional and/or marketing information about other products, services and offerings from SCA and/or any third parties.



• SCA encourages parents and guardians to spend time online with their children and to participate in the activities offered on its site. No information should be submitted to SCA Promotions by users under 18 years of age without the consent of their parent or guardian. Although users under 18 years of age may be allowed to participate in some contests and promotions, if such a user wins, notification and prizes are sent to the parents or guardians identified in the initial registration process. Publication of contest winners names, ages, or images for individuals under 18 years of age require parental or guardian consent. No information should be submitted to SCA Promotions by users under 13 years of age under any circumstances.



• SCA may disclose Personally Identifiable Information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on SCA or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of SCA, the site or the users of the site, and (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of SCA’s employees, users of the site or the public.



• If at any time you believe that SCA’s site has not adhered to these principles, please notify SCA by email at jeff.dorough@scapromo.com and we will use all commercially reasonable efforts to promptly determine and correct the problem.
