Boost your ratings and bring sponsor on board with a Big-Money listen-and-win contest and prize guaranteed by SCA. We'll work with you to customize a program to fit your budget, theme or event. Then, we'll assume the financial risk by paying when there's a winner. Below are some successful examples.
- Birthday Bash™
- During the designated time slot, your D.J. announces that it’s time to play the Birthday Bash™. The D.J. retrieves the winning birth date from SCA's contest website. If the lucky caller matches the grand prize winning birth month, day and year, you’ve got a winner, paid for by SCA! To make it even more exciting, SCA can design multi level prizes giving everyone more chances to win.
- Example Promo: "We are going to celebrate someone's birthday every day at Hot 97! It could be yours - just be the 10th caller. If your birthday matches the winning birthday, you'll celebrate with $97,000!"
- Lucky Bucks
- For this promotion, an SCA security administrator spends dollar bills in the market a few weeks before the promotion begins. For each attempt, SCA reveals to the D.J. a serial number from one of the seeded bills. The station announces the entire serial number and the listener has a specific time period to call in. Options for this promotion include multiple level prizes and inorporating the numbers from the station’s frequency in the serial number
- Example Promo: “Did you know that crumpled dollar bill in your pocket could be worth $1,000,000? Listen for the mystery million dollar bill sound on The Hits 96.3 every weekday at 7 am, 11 am and 2 pm. Be caller 96 and read us the dollar bill’s serial number you’ve selected. Just for calling, you’ll win $100 cash. Match the first two numbers and you win $1,000 cash, match the first three and win $10,000, match four and win $50,000 and if you match the first five numbers, you win a cool million!”
- Match the Music List
- Win Taylor Swift’s royalties for a month. “Win Today with the Match the Music List” promotion – only on Country 99.5. Check our website for the complete music list. Today, when you hear “You Belong With Me” by Taylor Swift, be the 10th caller and try to guess the five winning songs in any order. If you identify the correct five songs from the list, you will win her royalties for a month.
- High/Low Game
- The DJ takes a series of callers attempting to guess the winning jackpot amount to the penny, based on a specific range provided to the listeners. After each attempt, the DJ enters the guess into SCA’s contest website and the program tells the DJ whether the guess is “TOO HIGH” or “TOO LOW”. With each guess, the number range narrows for the next contestant. The more your listeners tune in, the better their chances of winning.
- Example Promo: “If you call in and correctly guess this week’s winning jackpot amount to the penny - between $5,000 and $50,000 - you will win that amount of cash from 99.5! The more you listen the better your chances to win big money!”
- Phrase that Pays Text in and Win
- "Know the phrase, win the dough…it’s that simple with Kicks 99.5. Each weekday morning between 7 and 9 a.m., be listening for the pass phrase of the day. Text “passphrase” to short code 12345 to see if you are the instant winner."
