Contestant Participation
These contests give fans the chance to go out onto the ice to score a fantastic prize.
- Shoot the Puck™
- Fans register online or at sponsor locations for a chance to shoot the puck through a target positioned in front of the goal.
- Shuffle Hockey™
- Contestants shoot the puck diagonally from one face-off circle to the face-off circle at the opposite end of the rink.
- Ice Putting
- The challenge: contestants putt a golf ball through a mouse hole target to win the prize.
- Pick A Spot
- Let the participating fan choose any spot between the Blue Lines on which to take a shot at the target placed in the goal. If the contestant scores, they turn around and shoot for the target in the opposite goal. If both attempts are successful, then you have a grand prize winner.
- Hockey Rapid Fire™
- In 20 seconds, each finalist shoots as many of the 20 lined up pucks as they can through an open net. If they make at least 15 successful shots into the target within the 20-second time limit, they’re the grand prize winner. Offer sponsor prizes for contestants making 5 or 10 successful shots. This easy promotion looks great to both fans and sponsors.
- Open Net Challenge
- By making all six shots into an open net from various spots on the ice, contestants capture the grand prize. Contestants take one shot from each of the five face-off dots and one shot from the opposite corner of the rink.
- Fantasy Games
- If it’s time to ice the competition, get your audience hitting the net on a regular basis with one of our exciting online hockey contests. We’ve got an all star line-up that includes one of the best score prediction games around.
- Goalie Goal
- Offer a pre-registered fan a cash prize if a goalie scores during the game.
- Super Seconds™
- Designed for radio stations, this promotion awards a fabulous prize to a lucky listener if the home team scores at the time mark that matches the station’s radio frequency.
- Light the Lamp™
- If the home team scores within the first 30 seconds of the opening face-off, a randomly selected fan gets a big payday. The prize starts out big at the beginning of the game. As each second passes, the prize amount drops while the excitement builds.

Skating All The Way To The Bank
Foxwoods Resort Casino and the New York Rangers teamed up to sponsor the "Super Sevens" contest. A randomly selected fan got the chance to make three shots through a target in front of the net. The first shot was worth $777 and dinner at Foxwoods. The second shot brought $7,777. The third won the $77,777 jackpot. The fans went crazy when the 3rd shot was made and the $77,777 prize was won for the second year in a row.
Face-Off Nets a Fortune
"During intermission at each Topeka Scarecrows home game, a fan was chosen to shoot the puck from one face-off dot -- diagonally across the ice – to the opponent’s face-off dot. If the puck landed within the dot, they’d pick up $30,000. Lo and behold, we did have a $30,000 winner. The crowd loved this promotion!"
